Date posted: Tuesday 20th November 2007

Marina: Port Solent

Premier Marinas Ltd at Port Solent are delighted to announce a number of new commercial tenancies based in The Slipway Buildings, adjacent to the marina.

Port Solent is increasingly on the wish list of businesses who want to work in a pleasant environment, with good access to the motorway network, great facilities and ample free parking.

Newly arrived in the marina are Prospect Marine, a boat sales and estate agency; Shipshape, a boat management and valeting company; Interpro Support Services, offering professional  HR and IT consultancy and Path Intelligence, Shopping centre footfall analysts.

For Interpro Support Services Ltd the location was perfect. Mark Abrams, Director said "having looked at many offices in the area, we chose the Slipway at Port Solent due to the central location, the large amount of parking and comprehensive facilities that are present nearby. We are a stones throw away from all the major routes which is very important for our business as we often need to reach clients fast to support them." Prospect, another company new to Port Solent, have expanded into the marine side from their residential sales and lettings business and now also offer financial services for marine and residential business. "Port Solent was an obvious choice for our business" said James Lunson, Prospect's Director "and we are really happy with our new premises. It's a fabulous place to work and play."

In addition to the new tenancies Premier Marinas supports 25 other businesses based in and around the Port Solent marina environment. These include well known names such as Sunsail Worldwide Sailing as well as the largest Chandlery operation in the UK, Marine Super Store. Plus a cluster of marine support services, all of whom, make the location an easy choice for boat owners. Many of these businesses have been in the same location since 1988 when the marina first welcomed boat owners and residents.

However, following a further refurbishment two commercial premises are available at Port Solent for marine related businesses. The units (in the Slipway Building) 749 sq ft and 1680 sq ft are available for immediate occupation on flexible terms.
